During the Month of October, our wonderful city is being transformed into a glowing purple mass. The Jacaranda trees
are in bloom and soon the streets of Pretoria will be covered in a blanket of purple Jacarandas, and if for this reason that the city is known to be the Jacaranda City.
As spring is coming to an end and all signs of summer are becoming clearer, one of these signs is the rainy season, waking up in the morning is an absolute pleasure, with the fresh smells and sounds of our natural environment. The gardens in Silver Lakes Golf estate is reminding us summer is here with the Sterlitzia’s blooming with the bright and warm colour orange.
Evenings are getting warmer and it is an ideal time to enjoy the evening air, by having a braai (Barbeque) with family and friends, watching the Rugby world cup, holding thumbs that our favourite team will be making it through the finals, having an evening swim, enjoying a late night walk. The Moonlight Fun Run / Walk will give you a chance to experience the fresh air and get some exercise.
